Only From Evolution Sails
Element is a new product and currently only available for Grand Prix Programs. Element uses the very latest in industrial fiber technology to create a monolithic sail structure. Element uses many, extremely thin, translucent fiber layers to create a that distributes sail loads evenly throughout the structure. In an element sail, the entire sail is designed as a load bearing entity that locks in the desired shape through the entire wind range.
Element delivers a new level of stretch resistance and shape retention thanks to the strength of Carbon Fiber and the load bearing characteristics of unique this construction methodology. Due to the strength of Element, the sail changes shape very little as wind velocity changes and, as a result, more directly translates loads to sheets, halyards and hardware.
