Evolution Sailmakers by Latell & Ailsworth is a key member of the Evolution Sails Group. We are headquartered in Deltaville, Virginia with a new and expanded facility, staffed by 15 skilled sailmakers and are the largest independently-owned sail loft serving the east coast. Our sales office in Hampton, Virginia is a huge presence in the southern Chesapeake Bay sailing community offering expert sail consultations, repair and installation service. In addition, we recently opened a new sail loft in Oriental, North Carolina and provide full consultation and repair service there.
We use the latest sail design software coupled with an in-house automated cutting system to build custom sails for inshore cruising monohulls, offshore racing monohulls and bluewater catamarans. From traditional, cross-cut dacron sails to sophisticated, laminated membrane sails using Evolution Sails technology, we support sailors throughout the eastern seaboard in the US.
